Our Boys Soccer Program Staff
Mike Schwarz - Boys Varsity Head Coach
This will be coach Schwarz’s third season with the Spartans, and eighth year coaching high school soccer. Coach Schwarz is a Tulsa native, having attended Holland Hall school. Coach Schwarz earned multiple playing honors while in high school and also played club soccer for multiple club teams in the metro area. He attended Loras College and upon return to Tulsa began his coaching career at his alma mater, Holland Hall. Prior to taking over at Bixby, he was the head coach at Riverfield Country Day where he was elected the 2014 4A East All-State Coach. In his first season at Bixby, he led the team to a 9-3 record (4-2 in district) finishing in a tie for 2nd in district. The Spartans were also Claremore Tournament Champions and reached the state playoffs. In his second season at Bixby, the Spartans claimed their first ever 6A district title, and reached the quarterfinals of state playoffs. He was named 2016 6A East All-State Coach and led the East to a 2-1 victory over the West.
In the fall of 2016, Coach Schwarz joined the Oral Roberts University Women’s soccer staff as the goalkeeper coach. Coach Schwarz holds multiple USSF licenses as well as the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and NSCAA GK I & II licenses. He also holds his NFHS/NSCAA Professional Development Diploma.

Tyler Schneider - Boys Assistant Coach
Coach Schneider is in his 6th season with the Bixby Spartans. He attended Weatherford High School then graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Social Studies Education. Since graduating SNU, Schneider has earned a Masters Degree in Sports Administration from East Central University in Ada, Ok. Coach Schneider is in his 3rd year of teaching 7th Grade Geography at Bixby Middle School.
Walter Hubbard - Boys Assistant Coach
This will be Coach Hubbard's first year with the Bixby Spartans. Coach Hubbard is a Tulsa local and has been a part of the soccer community since his early youth. He has played for various clubs in the area. Throughout his college years, he played soccer at Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Rogers State University, where he acquired a Bachelor's of Science in Fitness Management.
